A beautiful short film about two small shops in Los Angeles just scraping by: a letterpress company with technology over 600 years old, and a paper company still breathing since 1923.
I've watched this over three times already.
I love the vintage clickity-clackity sounds, the playfulness and the seriousness, and their love for what they do.
My favorite part of the film: "The thing that keeps me going, more than anything, is my love of paper…I come in the next day...I pump myself up again, I try to stay positive…things that you can envision, even without being an artist, envision how many things that that piece of paper could possibly be used for by a creative person."
I love this kinda stuff.
